It's Jen!

Hi! I am a Project Manager hailing in Austin, TX. I have over half a decade of experience managing projects and cross-functional teams across a variety of industries.

In my free time, I love hanging out with my 4 pets (2 dogs & 2 cats, I'm all about balance), dabbling in the fibre arts (knitting? crochet? sewing? yes, please!), and reading. More recently, I'm expanding my horizons by learning more about gardening, studying for my PMP certification, and creating a website!

How it started

In 2017, I joined THRIVE Pet Healthcare (then, THRIVE Affordable Vet Care) as the Office Manager. At that time, THRIVE had seven clinics in the Lone Star State. At the time, I had no idea this was the beginning of my journey into the world of project management.

As THRIVE began preparing for national expansion, it became evident that the team needed systems and processes in place to manage the growing portfolio of projects. Recognizing that need, I assisted in the evaluation and consideration of different project management software.

This ignited my passion for project management and process improvement. I assumed the role of Project Manager and every day brought new challenges and opportunities. By the time my tenure at THRIVE came to a close, we had established over 400 clinics across the United States.

Reflecting on my journey from Office Manager to Project Manager, and now a Senior Consultant, those early days at THRIVE shaped my career trajectory. I can only imagine what the future holds.
